
Introduction
Hub for the Future In Action is a social innovation programme which aims to create a platform for young scholars to actualise their dreams of a better future for Hong Kong by channelling their ideas into meaningful and impactful projects that benefit our society.
The programme is conducted in three phases: 1. Idea, 2. Research and Training, and 3. Presentation. Participants are divided into groups according to their passion regarding social issues, and selected groups will be given training and resources along the way they produce the project proposals, each of which will be given a project execution grant of up to HK$100,000 for actualising the projects. Assistance will be provided when necessary during the project execution phase, in terms of network and scenario provision.

Phase 1: Idea | ||
December 2021 | Mix and Match | Participants form groups according to their passion and interest, then exchange ideas and formulate basic details of their projects. |
December 2021 – January 2022 | Training | Participants will receive 4 sessions of training on social issues, proposal writing, resource management, and pitching skills. |
January – February 2022 | Promotional Video | Each participating team shall send 1 representative to record the voiceover. |
Phase 2: Research and Training | ||
January – February 2022 | Support and Coaching | - 2 professional coaching sessions will be arranged for each group. - HKFYG will line up the groups with NGOs from respective fields as executive arms. |
March 2022 | LinkedIn Promotion | Each group will share their video on their LinkedIn network and collect opinions, eventually developing the responses into a report. |
14 March 2022 | Final Proposal Collection | Each group will write a detailed proposal of their project ideas. |
